Diane Wong was inducted into the Community Service Category in 2025.
Diane Wong has served as the J-Sei Executive Director for the past 14 years and has enjoyed a 42-year history at the forefront of older adult services. With strategic leadership, she was the founding Executive Director for Alzheimer's Services of the East Bay, a national model for adult day services for people in middle to late stages of dementia and was a consultant and interim Executive Director for the Public Authority for IHSS where she implemented the country's first Rapid Response program. Currently at J- Sei, she has tripled delivery of J-Sei culturally appropriate programs for the Japanese and Asian community. Unique J-Sei services range from providing the county's only home delivered ethnic meals, to bilingual case management, friendly visitors and enriching multigenerational experiences. A big believer in collaboration, she was a founder of DayBreak Adult Care, Lamorinda Adult Respite, and serves on the board of Ashby Village. She values the spirit and history of individuals in this beautifully diverse community.
