Bisa Grant was inducted into the Non-Traditional Careers Category in 2025.
Bisa Grant, a proud Bay Area native, serves as the President and CEO of ANCHOR Engineering, a municipal construction and project management firm. A former collegiate and professional All-American track and field athlete, she brings a winning mindset to every endeavor. Since joining ANCHOR, she has risen through the ranks, ultimately acquiring the company in 2021. Under her leadership, the firm has experienced growth of over 300% in just seven years.
Throughout her career, Bisa has remained committed to leveraging ANCHOR's resources to uplift the communities the company serves. In celebration of ANCHOR's 20th anniversary, she launched the AncHER campaign, an initiative that highlights the company's identity as a woman-owned and woman-led business. The campaign champions equity and inclusion in the construction industry, with a focus on empowering and investing in female leadership and professional development. She actively supports initiatives that create opportunities for Black and Brown communities through employment, fair compensation, and professional development.
Bisa is a devoted wife and proud mother of four daughters. An alum of both UCLA and Cal State Dominguez Hills, she leads her family and her firm with unwavering purpose, passion, and determination.
